Why did women and African Americans have to fight for years for their right to vote? Does our society treat everyone equally today?

  2. No one cared about women or the African Americans... Mens thought they were more important than us but thats completely wrong WE ARE BORN EQUAL

  3. No, almost at this time it still descrimination in our society. women and African Americans have to fight because people thought the were less, and they were completly wrong!

  6. We think that right now women are not treated equal , we are treated better than in the past but we are still descriminated for being women,or being diferent or for being delicated.

  8. Years ago discrimination was very common. Now a days women and African American should have the same rights and be treated equaly than everyone else.

  9. Because in the past the black people and women in general didn't have rights because of discrimination. But thanks to Martin Luther King rights were given to black people and women. Today, both can vote, are free to decide what they wanna do with their life and they are acepted in society. But of course there are still some people who still don't accept this change, like some companies only hire white people, or only men. But in majority, we stopped discrminating.

    no i dont think everybody in the world is treated the same although the laws say it, there is still racism and that must not continue.
